10.29.03 @ Silverlake Lounge in Los Angeles, California with the Charming Snakes & Broadcast Oblivion.  Aid America; prolong the magic; welcome the extended tour into the future.  The two greatest bands in all of Seattle drove here to play for you.  Yes, you!

10.16.03 @ The Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa, California with the Blue Whales & Dreams Go Disco.  Welcome to the hippest thing on the coast.  Now, take off your coat; and pray there is  enough music to go all the way around those sweet, bountiful hips.

10.04.03 @ Thee Parkside in San Francisco, California with the Fleshtones, Omens, Teenage Harlots (sic), Jailbirds (japan), Ghosts, Coppertones, & Shambles.  Budget Rock II is finally here.  Join us in a song and a dance in the heart of the bay area.

08.17.03 @ The Troubadour in Los Angeles, California with The Bronx, The Kinison, Broadcast Oblivion,  & Lure of the Animal.  DJ's will be spinning booty-shaking tunes between sets.  Come for the dance.  Come for the kids.

08.16.03 @ Koo's Cafe in Long Beach, California with Broadcast Oblivion & Lure of the Animal.  The infamous and ever-blessed Koo's Cafe relocates and steps back onto the scene.  Let's make sure it doesn't ever disappear again.  Support Koo's Cafe and thank Dennis.

08.14.03 @ Thee Parkside in San Francisco, California with Broadcast Oblivion & Lure of the Animal.  Once, someone promised to kill me because I stole their guitar.  I didn't steal their guitar and they never killed me; but you can't really be friends with someone after they say something like that, no matter how many times they apologize.

08.13.03 @ The Metro in Sacramento, California with Broadcast Oblivion & Lure of the Animal.  Remember when California was supposed to float away into the Pacific?  Well, governor Gray Davis approved this show for forty billion dollars and promised to be there, rocking California's budget crisis into oblivion.

08.12.03 @ John Henry's in Eugene, Oregon with Broadcast Oblivion & Lure of the Animal.  Yeah right.  I'm not even going to start singing that song.  So don't get any stupid ideas.

08.10.03 @ The Blackbird in Portland, Oregon with Broadcast Oblivion & Lure of the Animal.  You can't argue with blue skies and green grass.  Portland makes Los Angeles look like the hell hole it really is.

08.08.03 @ Crocodile Cafe in Seattle, Washington with Broadcast Oblivion.    Seattle is perhaps the most amazing metropolis I have ever been to.  The Charming Snakes are perhaps the most amazing bandopolis I have ever seen.  Check it.

08.07.03 @ Le Voyeur in Olympia, Washington with Broadcast Oblivion & Lure of the Animal.  When I went to school in Olympia, Courtney Love was just beginning to blossom into the beautiful flower she is today.  Psyche.

08.05.03 @ Stork Club in Oakland, California with Broadcast Oblivion & Lure of the Animal.  We're hitting the road with Broadcast Oblivion, a stellar, super group featuring members of the Murder City Devils, Scared of Chaka, & Droo Church; and Lure of the Animal, an amazingly energetic, algebraic rock trio for the young and misunderstood.

07.28.03 @ Silverlake Lounge in Los Angeles, California with the Sons.  This is the last time anyone in Los Angeles will be able to see us before our tour.  So get it in gear.

06.19.03 @ Silverlake Lounge in Los Angeles, California with the Rolling Blackouts and Circus Minor.  Let's all take a minute to thank our respective gods, scientist, and mathamagicians for creating Scott Sterling and his Fold.

5.24.03 @ The Prospector in Long Beach, California with the Sharp Ease.  Bring knives, guns, and bad attitudes.  Fist are going to fly.

04.26.03 @ Chain Reaction in Anaheim, California with Rocket from the Crypt & The Spits.  It's national middle-finger month in america usa.  Come support your local snakes and wave your shit to the sky.

04.24.03 @ The El Ray in Los Angeles, California with Rocket from the Crypt, Sonny Vincent, & The Spits.  Get out the good china.  San Diego graces Los Angeles with their finest.  Yeeehaw!

04.22.03 @ Bomb Factory in Fresno, California with Soma Holidays, Needy Eevy, Pink Eye, Sputnik Monroe, Milk for the Morning Cake, Barnaby Clones, & Deogi.  This a Food Not Bombs benefit show.  Come to the show or float through life under the misleading light of bumper sticker idealism?  Your decision.

04.10.03 @ The Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa, California with the Mojo Filters & Hangmen Come Quickly.  This night is one to be remembered, one of splendor.  Let us savor the tricks, the games, ronald, yeah!

04.09.03 @ The Casbah in San Diego, California with the Black Keys & Har Mar Superstar.  Dance yourself into the ground one last time before the world explodes itself.  Buckets of sweat for everybody.  Behave.  Get down.  Ugh!

04.08.03 @ Spaceland in Los Angeles, California with the Black Keys & Jet.  A large group of hostile, insecure yuck-brains will wear fitted clothing and congregate under the heavy heat of leftoutism.  Don't be stupid.  Step to the trough.  Insert face.

04.06.03 @ The Glasshouse in Pomona, California with French Toast & Dance Disaster Movement.  For to bring band of power, take quarter cup Fugazi, mash with quarter cup of Make-Up, and let bacon going burnted.  Serve chilled.  Shut the fuck up.

04.04.03 @ Harvey Mudd in Claremont, California with very famous, american rap artist.  This is a party.  Like, you know, some guy's sister's party.  I can't really invite you or tell you where it is, but if you go to the Claremont Colleges and look for Dr. CrazyGoNuts we can shake hands and call it even.

03.21.03 @ The Derby in Los Angeles, California with the Stitches, Bronx, Orphans, Fleshies, & Theory of Ruin.  This show is huge; this show is colossal; this show is eight dollars unless you get there before nine, then it is five.

03.16.03 @ Big Fish Pub in Tempe, Arizona with Space Twins & Digital E.  Brian Bell of Weezer may or may not be in one of these bands, depending on what legal situation typing such a thing would put us in.

03.15.03 @ Skrappy's in Tucson, Arizona with Assume the Worst.  Abraham Lincoln once said,  "Please for to make loving from my bottom heart."  Let's not dissapoint him by not coming to this life-changing event.  Step.

03.14.03 @ Club Congress in Tucson, Arizona with Al Perry & 30 Seconds to Mars.  One of these bands didn't think the stage was sturdy enough to hold their tremendous bodies, walked across the street, and held their show at the Rialto.  This, however, didn't stop one of us from pretending she was Angela for four wonderful seconds.  Kissy!

03.13.03 @ Solar Culture in Tucson, Arizona with the Scene Creamers, including members of Nation of Ulysses, Make Up, & Golden.  Ian & Michelle return with their fist up and hips  forward.  Seven dollars.  All ages.

03.12.03 @ Spaceland in Los Angeles, California with the Shakes & Central City Transmission.  One Man Show Live sexually assaulted the world in the year 1999, leaving Los Angeles bare-foot and pregnant.  Marvel as the bastard child they left behind presents his latest creation to the world his father soiled.

02.27.03 @ The Glasshouse in Pomona, California with the Pattern & Dead Moon.  This show marks the one month anniversary of my relationship with Depakote.  If anyone knows anything about anything, please email me.

02.26.03 @ Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco, California with the Pattern, Librarians, & Dead Moon.  Things to consider:  Nathan has driven from Los Angeles to Yosemite in less than four hours; Eric is more than willing to jump a car, even if it belongs to someone else's grandparents; Aaron refuses to accept his van for what it is and insist that signaling is a warning not a request.

02.24.03 @ The Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa, California with Laterna.  What can you do with My Pal 2?  Come to the last show in the known universe and find the answers to this and other impending questions of doom and destruction.

02.17.03 @ The Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa, California with The Heroins.  Energon has been shown with a liquid viscosity, the ability to be stored in certain containers, and the ability to be compressed. Mostly seen in cubes, but were also depicted in the form of solid rods.

02.10.03 @ The Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa, California with The Bronx.  Two bands play romantic music to bar full of lovers.  Don't try to understand.  Just use your lips and love each other.

02.05.03 @ Silverlake Lounge in Los Angeles n Rancho Cucamonga, California with Metric & the Midnight Movies. The Silverlake Lounge is a wonderful venue situated on the nonfuckhead end of Sunset.  If you have hearing enough for one more show, this is the one to waste yourself on.

02.03.03 @ The Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa, California with All Systems Go!.  This morning in Echo Park I saw a please-don't-beat-your-child billboard someone had graffitited "Your Counry is Weird" on.  Now I don't know what the hell to think about graffiti, child abuse, or the correct spelling of country.  Thanks a lot, guy.

01.25.03 @ Friar Tucks in Pomona, California with the Hangmen, Manifolds, & Katie the Pest.  Macedonia's Tosho said it best, "If it possible, if you have in plan to come in this part in world, i have a chance to make one show here in my country for your bands"

01.23.03 @ The Smell in Los Angeles, California with the Bronx, Manifolds, & Snake vs. Wizard.  We have morphed into the future and learned how to defeat it.  Stand back as we unveil our latest.  Get there early for the tricks and treats from the good witch's bakery. Pa! Pow! Pa! Pow! Pa! Pow! Pow!

01.11.02 @ Goodfellas in Rancho Cucamonga, California with the Manifolds & Good Boys.  Famous people rock stars frequent this bar; the poorest countries in the world have civil wars.  What in the bzrazap lazer brains is going on!?

01.09.03 @ Alterknit Lounge in Los Angeles, California with Squab.  You may or may not have seen the beautiful women that are Squab on the cover of the last OC Weekly.  Don't let their nice-person smiles fool you; they can and will break your bones.

01.08.03 @ Spaceland in Los Angeles, California with Dirty Little Secret and Trespassers William.  Super powerful friend unite in effort to resolving dispute to earth or bringing five dollar.  You decide.

12.13.02 @ The Smell in Los Angeles, California with the Snaps, Katie the Pest, & Havalina.  Don't let the name of the venue fool you into not coming.  They have a wonderful, vegan cafe inside full of freshly cooked goodies; semi-optional, homeless-person valet parking for a dollar or two; and plenty of entertainment both inside and outside the venue.  Prepare to be cultured.

12.07.02 @ Friar Tucks in Claremont, California with the Manifolds, Living Science Foundation, and Durty Bombs.  I know what you're thinking, but let's not forget that the DB are the two best cheerleaders this side of the Mississippi and the LSF is probably going to have their equipment destroyed and stolen while they play.  I mean, you never know anyway.

11.15.02 @ The Troubadour in Los Angeles, California with the Datsuns and the Bellrays.  New Zeland presents their finest.  We present them blue jeans.  Come support foreign trade.

11.02.02 @ Goodfellas in Ontario, California with Scrimage Heroes, Black Sky, & Wagner.  Ra ra ree, kick em in the knee.  Ra ra rass, kick em in the other knee.  Go team.

11.01.02 @ Que Sera in Long Beach, California with Katie the Pest, the Rolling Blackouts, the Durty Bombs, and Sxbrs.  "Right now there are some tiny medieval knights staring at me and they looked pissed so I better go find the real princess, because this is not the real princess."

10.25.02 @ The Garage in Los Angeles, California with the Flash Express, and the New Detectives.  This is an excuse to celebrate Eric's birthday.  Afterward, there is a party at my house on the top of Mt. Micheltorena.  If you don't come, you hate his guts, which is fine because he probably already hates yours.

10.20.02 @ The Derby in Los Angeles, California with Smile and Faraway Places.  Last minute medication for the poor and unlucky will be administered for baby teeth.  Smash your guitar please.  Smash your guitar.

10.16.02 @ Incahoots in Riverside, California with the Flash Express & the Kinison.  I don't know if you know who Dolemite is, but the Flash Express kicked him out of the band for his fast-forward-karate problem.  Yes!  They're that good.

10.15.02 @ Bigfoot Lodge in Los Angeles, California with the Rolling Blackouts.  Christmas is cancelled.  The goose is getting fat.  Put another penny in the old man's hat.  Then find two hundred and ninety-nine more and come to the show.

10.03.02 @ The Boiler Room in Redlands, California Too.  Let's face it.  No one really liked the first California and sequels are almost always better.  And you will know us by the dumbest sentence in the universe.  Welcome to land of little water.

10.02.02 @ The Scene in Glendale, California.  Only band in universe Rattlesnakes have become.  Lonely life saw machine.  No money down; no money for show.  Free.  Boom ching boom ching boom ching boom...pow!

09.24.02 @ The Fold in Los Angeles, California with  Smile, Butcher Holler, & the Pinkz.  This show is alive and burning in my loins.  All good band all of time.  My toe is broken and I'll probably fall over.  Whatever.

09.21.02 @ The 2nd St. Ale House in Upland, California with the Art of Safecracking, Wagner, and Leave the World.  Holy smokes!  What a show.  This insightful article will give you an idea of what this show will be like, and will probably help you sleep a lot better at night, and probably through the next day too.

09.17.02 @ The Fold in Los Angeles, California with the Living Science Foundation, Rolling Blackouts, & Amor.  For the small price of nothing we will provide you with a pleasant but mysterious communist agenda, total rock 'n roll amazingness, and screwy  pretension from abroad.  "Welcome to America. You have the right to be beaten."  -  Struggle

09.10.02 @ The Fold in Los Angeles, California with Nervous Return, Squab, and Hotel River.  I bought a box of banana popsicles the other day from the Mayfair.  They had to be the second best thing I had ever stuck in my mouth.  This show will always be the first, though.  For sure.

09.07.02 @ The Liquid Den in Huntington Beach, California with the Cherry Valence, Gasface, & Husbands.  We're having this party.  Please come.  It won't be the same without you.  This show starts at nine p.m. and will rock your womb with child.  I don't know.

09.03.02 @ The Fold in Los Angeles with the Manifolds, Geto Gold, & William Lee & the Modern Primitives.  We're kicking off our residency with small pox and the clap.  The Manifolds can do back flips while they play and convulse with pleasure.  Sorry, girls, they already have management.

08.30.02 @ The Smell in Los Angeles, California with Down in Flames & Biblical Proof of UFOS.  The Rattlesnakes gained a +2 in stamina, +3 in agility, and learn new spell.  Congratulation!  We have now the power of fight ourself to death.

08.24.02 @ The 710 Room in Austin, Texas with The Lost Sounds, Digital Leather, & Attack Formation.  Good news:  We're still in Texas!  More good news:  "The Lost Sounds are three misunderstood, crazed individuals from Memphis, Tennessee. Alicja was formely in The Fitts and The Clears, whereas Jay hails from his infamous band The Reatards. These two combined their talents along with their drummer and have created the blistering, unique sound that thrust itself on the scene."

08.22.02 @ Beerland in Austin, Texas with the Ultimate Dragons, and Katie the Pest.  The Ultimate Dragons are partially made up of members of Those Peabodys.  Um.  Speak softly and carry a very large gun.  We come in peace and love Texas almost as much as the men and women who live there.

08.18.02 @ The Collectividades Fronterizas in Nogales, Mexico with Katie the Pest, Car Full of Bosnians, Mankind, Xool, High Tower, Emcee Lynx, Aztlan Unearthed, Clew of Thesis, No Mas No, Stress, Mal Trato, & El Grito.  El agua es para los bueyes, el vino para los hombres.  A donde fueres haz lo que vieres.

08.17.02 @ The Center Digna 135 in Tucson, Arizona with High Tower, Car Full of Bosnians, Swing Ding Amigos, and Katie the Pest.  There are good people left in the universe.  Well, four of them, anyway; but three of them live in Tucson; and we're coming to celebrate with wild abandon and drink.

08.02.02 @ The Drop-in Center in Tustin, California with the Fish People, OBCD, and Nomadic Minds.  The Fish People borrowed a motorhome to take on tour.  They crashed it, seized the engine, and left it in Oregon.  Come see their final, and possibly messiest, disaster ever.

08.01.02 @ The Glasshouse in Pomona, California with the Catheters, the Riverboat Gamblers, and the Kinison.  This show is dedicated to the men and women who work or don't work hard for their money.  If you are a homeless person and for some lucky reason on the internet looking at this, come to this show, I'll get you drunk and a ticket in.

07.31.02 @ Incahoots in Riverside, California with the Kinison, Good Boys, & Get the Girl.  This show is free and welcomes anyone old enough to buy cigarettes.  The Inland Empire is funny and just full of surprises these days.

07.29.02 @ The Liquid Den in Huntington Beach, California with the Rolling Blackouts.  The Rolling Blackouts are one of the best bands I have seen in years and will someday be famous.  If your pants haven't been rocked off in a while, come and get 'em rocked.

07.27.02 @ The Garage in Los Angeles, California with Biblical Proof of UFOS, the Manifolds, & Fader.  This show is a benefit for kids older than twenty one and is only five dollars before ten p.m.  Ow!

07.19.02 @ The Troubadour in Los Angeles, California with the Dragons, Superbees, and the Hellbenders.  The Dragons are so good that they're going to be in a movie.  We'll be selling our latest release, "I, Explosion!", at this show.  It's hot; come get it.

07.10.02 @ Spaceland in Los Angeles, California with the Sillies, and the Rolling Blackouts.  Rock and roll goodness for the young at heart:  The Sillies are from Detroit and go all the way back to1977.  I was born in 1977 and will be on drugs singing about my melted insides; this will be well worth the nominal fee you'll have to pay at the door.

07.03.02 @ The Smell in Los Angeles, California with the  Holy Fallout, Squab, and Tadpole.  The Holy Fallout is a wonderful, noisy little monster on Trackstar Records.  Plus, they are coming all the way from Philadelphia to show you how they do things in the east.  Come for the education; bring the kids.  It's all ages and only five dollars.

06.30.02 @ Zen Sushi in Los Angeles, California with  Katie the Pest.  I can't say enough wonderful things about these beautiful women of heart ache and bicycles.  They are the rainbow tickles in my new and improved horrible life.

06.16.02 @ The Garage in Los Angeles, California with  Radio Vago, Crowns On 45, and the Alleged Gunmen.  Some of these bands came all the way from new york to play for the kids of america; and if that's not good enough for you, we'll be giving away medication with our new album, thank you very much.  This is not a joke.

06.08.02 @ Juvee Skateboarding Think Tank in Los Angeles, California with the Fallen, and the Kinison.  Come rock out and help kids from on-purpose-blowing their own heads off; this place is important; the show is for a good cause; and the cost is only five dollars.

06.02.02 @ Spaceland in Los Angeles, California with Crankshaft, & the Mercy Suite.  This show is part of the Slamdance Film Festival's Homegrown Music Series, independent film and music at its best.  Rock and roll.  Usa.  Ow!

05.31.02 @ The Stardust in Downey, California with Katie the Pest, and the Manifolds.  They're smart, sassy, and hot as hell; these girls broke my heart and kissed it back together.  Xoxo.

05.30.02 @ The Garage in Los Angeles, California with the Black River Soul, MotorCycle Boy, & Mach IV.  Man call to tell peekaboo perfect space explore go home american flying machine from far.

05.25.02 @ The Echo in Los Angeles, California with the Flash Express, Neon King Kong, & The Starvations.  This show start early at 1 p.m. and then  happy family sparkle time.

05.14.02 @ Spaceland in Silverlake, California with the French Kicks, Hot Hot Heat, and the Natural History.  This show was too good for the weekend and freaked my ass into the ground.  I did not get up because my legs were broken and did not work the same way.  They did not work at all.

05.10.02 @ The Smell in Los Angeles, California with The Rolling Blackouts, The Starvations, & The PinkzAll your band is belong to me.  Congratulation!

04.17.02 @ The Press in Claremont, California.  Good food.  Great art.  The bar itself is worth the visit.  Come and see the only good thing in the Inland Empire.

04.05.02 @ The Anarchy Bookstore in Long Beach, California with Katie the Pest, & Wellsville.  A new venue has brought sunshine back into the heart of Long Beach.  Help us break it into pieces.  P.S.  This show has been canceled due to stupidity.

04.03.02 @ KSPC 88.7 FM in Claremont, California.  We will be playing new material on the air for approximately 24 minutes at 8 PM.  So warm the vacuum tubes, put down the gun, and turn the dial to 88.7 FM.  If you don't receive KSPC then move; it's worth it.

03.20.02 @ The Knitting Factory in Hollywood, California with The Original Sinners, Miracle Chosuke, & The Flash Express.  An ex member of  X & 2 Sara Abrahms Attack Tanks.  What more can I say?

03.15.02 @ The Lost Film Fest in Austin, Texas.  This is the best show in the universe; it also coincides with SXSW.  So go to Texas and be a man, or at least a manly woman.

03.12.02 @ The Fold in Silverlake, California with The Deadly Snakes and The Nerves.  I'm not sure if we're supposed to kill these guys or be their friends or what.

03.09.02 @ The Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa, California with Smile.  This show is just a thinly veiled rerun of Solid Gold.  If you don't remember what that is, then imagine Soul Train with more smoke and better hair.
